Coming February 2018!
Prerequisite: A Proper Introduction
A Walk Through the Early Years is a 6 week course that takes you on a walk through the delightful discoveries and worthy occupations that are waiting for you and your child in the early years before formal schooling begins. This course explores the role of mother as teacher, the out-of-door life, habits, and the importance of mother continuing her own education.
The course has a duration of 6 weeks and each week contains 2 assignments. Some of the assignments will be podcast episodes and others will be articles to read. All assignments will have a required narration to be submitted. If you fail to submit your narration by its due date, you will be removed from the course.
You will need to be self-disciplined to schedule time in your week for the assignments…which is great for habit training yourself! We recommend taking at look at the week’s assignment at the beginning of the week so that you can allow yourself plenty of time to complete them.
The assignments can be broken up into chunks throughout the week and need not be completed “at one sitting”…because we all know that mothers with children under 6 do not have the luxury of sitting for very long at one time.
We look forward to seeing you grow in your knowledge of the Charlotte Mason philosophy during these all important early years.
How to Enroll
Applications for this course will be sent out mid-January 2018 to students who have completed A Proper Introduction.
